Grades 3-7 | Geared Toward First-Time Competitive Players & Young Athletes

The ETA (Elite Training Academy) program is designed for beginner-level players in Grades 3-7 who are just starting their competitive volleyball journey. This program focuses on building the foundational skills required for success at the next level, while fostering a love for the sport in a supportive, player-focused environment.

Program Features:

  • Target Audience: First-time competitive players and young athletes new to the sport.
  • Focus: Skill development in serving, passing, setting, hitting, and footwork.
  • Frequency: 2 practices per week, ensuring consistent skill progression and growth.
  • Tournaments: 4-5 one-day in-region tournaments (no travel) during the season, providing opportunities to apply skills in a competitive environment.
  • Season Duration: Typically October to Early March.
     

This program is starter-level, perfect for athletes who are looking to develop as players and gain experience in the competitive volleyball world, without the pressure of travel or extensive commitments. The focus is on learning the game, building teamwork, and player development. No travel tournaments β€” everything takes place locally, allowing families to enjoy a less demanding schedule.

Grades 5-12 | Designed for Players Seeking More Competitive Play

The Select program at Elite Volleyball is designed for players in Grades 5-12 who are eager to continue developing their skills while stepping into a more competitive environment. This program is perfect for players who want to challenge themselves, refine their skills, and prepare for higher levels of play, including travel teams and more intense competition.

Program Features:

  • Target Audience: Players in Grades 5-12 with previous competitive experience (preferred but not required), or those looking to increase their skill level and play more competitively. 
  • Focus: Emphasis on improving technical skills, team strategies, court awareness, and game-play execution. This program challenges players to elevate their game and prepare for the next step in their volleyball careers.
  • Frequency: 2 practices per week, allowing for consistent skill development without overwhelming commitment.
  • Tournaments: Participation in local one-day events and a few regional 2-3 day tournaments, giving players valuable competition experience.
  • Cost & Commitment: Lower cost and less time commitment than full travel teams, making it ideal for players who also participate in other sports or those looking for a more affordable option while still being part of a competitive volleyball community. 
  • Season Duration: Early November to Late March. 

The Select program is a great stepping stone for players who are looking to advance their skills, work toward higher-level competition, and prepare for travel teams in the future. It’s also ideal for athletes with multiple-sport commitments who want to experience competitive volleyball without the high demands of a full-time travel team.

 Grades 7-12 | Highly Competitive Players Seeking Local High-Level Play

The Regional Premier program is designed for highly competitive, skilled players who want to play at a high level but with minimal travel and fewer scheduling conflicts. This program is ideal for athletes who want to remain close to home, minimize time away from school, and still compete in challenging tournaments.

Program Features:

  • Target Audience: Grades 7-12 players with strong competitive experience who want high-level competition but limited travel.
  • Focus: Intense skill development, game strategy, and teamwork with a focus on big local events.
  • Travel: Limited travel within the region, with minimal out-of-town tournaments.
  • Frequency: 3 practices per week to push players to perform at the highest level without overwhelming time commitments.
  • Cost: Higher cost due to larger, regional tournaments, and coaching fees, but less than National or American Premier programs.
  • Season Duration: Early November - April, including multiple one-day and two-to-three-day events.
  • Player Requirements: Results-based β€” we expect consistent performance metrics and dedication.

This program is perfect for players who participate in multiple sports, want a competitive environment, and prefer to minimize travel and school interference.

Athletes in this program are expected to deliver strong results and contribute to the success of the team while gaining exposure to top competition across the region.

  • Target Audience: Grades 7-12 players who are highly competitive and looking for a balance between high-level play and moderate travel.
  • Focus: Focus on advanced skills, team strategies, and high-pressure competition. 
  • Travel: Moderate travel, with required trips to regional and select national events.
  • Frequency: 3 practices per week to ensure players are developing at a fast pace while maintaining their academic commitments.
  • Cost: Higher cost due to travel expenses, accommodation, and higher-level tournaments. 
  • Season Duration: Early November - April, including multiple one-day and 2-3 day tournaments.
  • Player Requirements: Results-based β€” performance metrics are a key factor in team placements and advancement. 

This program is ideal for athletes looking for higher-level competition with the chance to travel and compete at an elevated level while balancing their academic and extracurricular activities.

Program Features:

  • Target Audience: Grades 8-12 players with elite-level skills who are seeking a highly competitive environment and are prepared for frequent travel.
  • Focus: Advanced individual and team skill development, game strategy, and mental toughness. Players will compete against the best in the country.
  • Travel: Frequent travel to national tournaments and high-profile events, including out-of-state and cross-country competitions.
  • Frequency: 3-4 practices per week to ensure players are prepared for the physical and mental demands of this level of play.
  • Cost: Highest cost, including travel, accommodation, and tournament fees.
  • Season Duration: Early November - April, including multiple one-day and 2-3 day tournaments, and several large events requiring national travel. 
  • Player Requirements: Results-based β€” high performance and stats are crucial for continued placement and development. 

The National Premier program is for players who want to compete at the highest possible level in the sport, with extensive travel and a full commitment to both their athletic development and team success.
